Point Defiance Garden Festival

June 1 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

FREE

SKT will be performing as part of the 2 day Point Defiance Garden Festival!

Come join us at the Pagoda Plaza. Inspired by Japanese architecture when it was built in 1914, the Pagoda is the focal point of Point Defiance Park’s Japanese Garden. Surrounded by a Japanese garden featuring pools, a waterfall, a footbridge, sakura cherry trees, an authentic Shinto shrine and Tori Gate presented by Tacoma’s Sister City in Kitakyushu Japan, and home to several interactive displays during the event.

The majority of the event is free and open to the public. Curated Experiences are offered as part of the event including:

  • Guided garden tours
  • Workshops and lectures
  • Wine and beer tastings
  • and more

A ticket is required to participate in these experiencesClick here to explore this year’s events.

While dogs are allowed, so long as they are on leashes, in most areas of the event we do ask that you keep your furry friends at home due to the large crowds.

Service animals are of course allowed.
